The snow storm of 1936. I went to school in the bobsleigh for 6 weeks. Dad or the hired man drove us every day and came and got us at night. Then when it started to thaw out there was no road that the horses could pull a wagon in the mud so I boarded with the neighbor next to the school for a month and got through the mud to the school but i remember how hard it was to get water for the school as we had to carry it from that same neighbor's every day. The big boys,and I had several did that for me. They thought that they were big stuff to get to do that for the teacher. Todays kids would tell me to do it myself. Times have changed.
