Butte Gazette  29 JUN 1922      Lighting Kills Horse.
  Lighting at the John Ruther farm northwest of town,
 Sunday morning, killed John's best horse. John was attending
 his hogs when the flash came. The horse was in the
 yard, and when struck, fell, but got up and walked away
 in a dazed manner.  About fifty feet from where he was
 struck he dropped dead.  The loss is covered by insurance.
