The Norris Heineman Memorial Scholarship was established at the University of Nebraska in September 1963. It was for students majoring in radio and
television and was created through the University of Nebraska Foundation by a
gift from Amanda B. Heineman and Edward Heineman, Jr. (Omaha World-Herald, 12 Sep 1963, p. 48).
